Anne Marie and Ryan ~ Gettysburg Engagement

Ryan and Anne Marie asked if I would be willing to do their engagement session in Gettysburg and I immediately knew the answer.  Shooting in new places is probably one of the funnest aspects of being a portrait and wedding photographer...fresh locations are blank canvases and really tend to get the creative juices flowing.  This is what photographers thrive off of...so I definitely knew it was going to be a good time.  It rained on my drive to Gettysburg and again torrentially on my way home...but for the whole time we were shooting it was blue skies and sunny...how perfect is that?  I actually got sunburnt.

Anyway, I got the grand tour of town.  The amount of Gettysburg knowledge between these two is amazing...and listening to them debate each other on Gettysburg history is entertainment on its own.  We spent the day moving between the town, campus (I didn't even know that Gettysburg had a college), and the battlefields grabbing a few shots at each.  Then...when the day was done and all film was exposed we stopped over to Appalachian Brewing Company for a frosty one.  What a happy ending.

Thanks guys, I had a freaking awesome time and will mail your check when I win Gettysburg Quizzo Night.  :)
