Our Honeymoon - Part 2 - Palm Springs, California.

Well, here is the next installment of our honeymoon photo journal. :)  The following were all taken in/around the Palm Springs area.  Which is really such a cool spot, they have a tramway (the largest rotating aerial tram in the world) that takes you up a 9,000ft mountain and at the top is the gorgeous San Jacinto State Park wilderness which is open to hiking, camping, etc.  It's really amazing to me to live in an area where you have 80 degree dry desert weather on a daily basis but then also have access to snowy mountaintops and pine trees that are only a 15 minute tram ride away...seriously the best of both worlds.  We were only here for two days before we had to push on but we met some awesome people, ate some great food, saw some killer sights and drank a few tasty brews.  Definitely a recommended spot to check out if you are in the area. By the way, if you have some naked walls and need some new wall art, prints of these photos can be purchased here.

San Gorgonio Pass is one of the windiest places on the West Coast and it runs right through Palm Springs...and California obviously knows how to use that to their favor.  This wind farm has 3,218 windmills each producing 615MW of power that is funneled back to Los Angeles.
