A Typical Daydream Series: French Creek State Park

It's been a while since I have posted a shot for this series.  Things are finally starting to settle down around here and we are falling into a comfortable routine with Rider so I am finding more and more time to get back to sharing some work.  I got some film scans back recently from stuff that I had shot over through the winter.  I know most of us east coasters are pretty much done with the snow and ice at this point...but you have to admit, as much of a headache as this past winter may have been...there were also some really beautiful moments as well. This shot was taken after the major ice storm that hit Pennsylvania back in early February.  I went for my usual morning walk with Stella at French Creek State Park and brought a camera along because the sun was out and I knew the ice on the trees would be something really special.

If you would like to purchase this shot for your wall or desk, prints of this and many other landscapes are available here.
